Erras Restaurant in Kirrweiler

It was a recommendation from a colleague. On the first visit we had typical Palatinate dishes (for us the reference point) and since then we have been to the Erras several times. On our last visit we had Chateaubriand, a dream. We're looking forward to next time.

In the current Corona period, we also like to use the offer to pick up dishes - highly recommended 😋

Arrived unexpectedly, just wanted to have a drink, but had a bite to eat in the very cozy inner courtyard. A delicious tarte flambée + 1x baked Camembert with a side salad. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of the 2nd, but it looked very good optically and the salad side dish was also very good - someone made a lot of effort. We'll definitely come back here. 👍😀

During our short break we went to the Eras restaurant twice for dinner. Was there the delicious Palatinate specialties e.g. Try Worschgrumbeere, Schiefer Sack or Saumagen and were completely thrilled. The service was excellent and very friendly and accommodating. The ambience with the beautiful inner courtyard typical of this beautiful area. Will definitely be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🍷🍇

We came here spontaneously, because we wanted to Palatine cuisine. My wife had liver dumplings with sauerkraut and bacon sauce, I a typical Pfälzer plate (Saumagen, bratwurst and liver dumplings with sauerkraut and bacon sauce) The food was really delicious, the bratwurst could have been seared a bit sharper. The service very friendly and attentive. The wines are also very good. Price / performance is excellent. Why only 4 stars? Not because of the food and drink, nor because of the service, we had to wait over an hour for our food. This is definitely too long, even when it's busy. Here, the operators have to improve, because even if everything else is right, the waiting almost makes it all over.

I can only speak good things. The food was very good, reasonably priced and the staff very polite, attentive and accommodating despite the stress. Extra wishes was met immediately :) I have not eaten so well in any other restaurant in Maikammer so far!
